On a frigid Sunday morning there was a huge turnout for touch footy. Including but not limited to Big Skinny, Sodano, Alligator Arms (Tormey), T & B Mac, and newcomer Matt ‘Levittown Legend’ Coles (a.k.a. Cowboy Killa, Cherry Cig, & Long Shot). Somehow through the luck of the draw one team seemed to have more speed and ball handling skills which led to a relatively lopsided score. Huge plays were all over the place as we witnessed Timmy McCall show off his footwork and speed in open space as he dusted old timer Justin ‘Schmitty Hammy’ Zadnik on multiple occasions. Justin did make up for it on defense with multiple sacks on the opposing teams quarterback (Shipos), and by throwing the game winning touchdown. Pat ‘Big Skinny’ Smith had a career day and was the favorite for MVP considerations but was outshined by the ‘Cowboy Killa’ who thoughtfully brought donuts for everyone. Maybe next time Pat, but unlikely. In other news, the Shipos interview video was shot and there was some interesting news on the sponsorship front so stay tuned for more updates.
